Celebrating Griffin

We wrapped up the birthday celebrations this weekend with Griffin's birthday party.  She requested a "smiley" theme at a local gymnastics gym and it couldn't have been easier or more fun.

I put  these cute retro toppers on store bought cupcakes (Market Street bakery is THE BEST!)...

... and paired it with  these dessert plate and napkin sets.  EASY!!!

For favors we bought  these canvas bags and then ironed on  these smiley patches and filled them with candy and  these big balloons.  We had some clear bags of candy and balloons for the boys since Griffin wasn't sure if they'd want the smiley pouches.

They turned out so cute and lots of the girls were talking about being excited to take them home and decorate them with sharpies ;)

They ran, jumped, flipped, foam pitted, climed and ALL THE THINGS...

And then went back to the party room for pizza and cupcakes...

... and presents.

If how sweaty they all were was any indication of how much fun they had they all had a blast ;)

I've eaten a years worth of desserts in the last 30 days but it's been such a fun month of celebrating.  Thank y'all for celebrating along with us!  Until next year, friends ;)

  1. That looks like the neatest place to have a party! I love those photos of your daughter; she is glowing with happiness just like every birthday girl should be able to do on their birthday.
