Summer Touches

Summer is in full swing and I was so excited to get out a few of my favorite festive summer touches!

I found this McCoy Uncle Sam planter at a local antique mall a few years ago and I love putting hydrangeas in it - but this week was just flags ;) 

On the mantle I kept things super simple with this quilted star garland. I still may add some twinkle lights to it - we'll see! I loved that it was patriotic without being flag print and the quality is AWESOME!

Isn't it so pretty?!?!?!

The coffee table has a thrifted wicker basket tray with a few more vintage finds including the scalloped dish, shell trinket box and little silver pedestal bowl.

I also have a couple of these glass boxes where I like to display polaroids from summer trips along with a few little trinkets like the brass starfish and shells my kids collected.

I have a few more vintage pieces holding an orchid, vintage glass floats (my summer FAVE!), and retro prints of our summer adventures from Inkifi.

I have another bowl of glass floats on our kitchen table along with this cute Lori Mitchell figurine.

And lest you think my kitchen table is clean in the summer I present to you the part you couldn't see ;) hahahaha

I have a couple more Lori Mitchell pieces in the kitchen...

I realize that these are totally kitschy but I just can't help it - I love them so much!

I keep some festive plates and napkins on the counter for easy access and cuteness...

And in the dining room love having some red white and blue pieces out as well.

All of the dishware is several years old - Anthropologie and Homegoods finds over the years.

The blue and white butterfly and swallow pieces are vintage that I've found locally...

... and these pieces are from one of my FAVORITE Etsy shops.

And there you go! I still need to add all my flags to the outside of the house but it's feeling festive inside and I love it!
