Happy Friday, friends! I'm going to be honest - this week was super disappointing as Mason's 8th grade class trip was cancelled last minute. We were both so looking forward to heading out West but have tried to make the most out of being at home (and sleeping in our own beds! ha!).
The Byron Nelson golf tournament is happening in McKinney this week and Mason and my dad headed over there yesterday to check it out...
Mason having a phone is my FAVE because he loves snapping pics! ;)
He got a ton of signatures, got to talk to players, got balls and had a BLAST!
Luke had academic awards on Wednesday and was recognized for Honors Chemistry, Student Government and making Headmaster's Honor Roll.
Immediately after awards the entire school had to get in our storm shelter area because of a tornado close by and this cutie had one of her FAVORITE duties - being in charge of her science teacher's bunny ;)
She also got to hang out with another teacher's snake this week which she LOVES! She's my only kid who has ever wanted to have a snake as a pet. She thinks this snake's face is adorable and I just can't get on board!
Speaking of pets - we have our FAVORITE extra pet with us this weekend ;) Luke is petsitting for a friend and we love having Ruby over!
Last weekend we got to watch our favorite choir member sing her heart out at the choir dinner show...
She was so cute and LOVES being in choir!
Open mug tea is my FAVORITE kind of tea.
The mall is NOT my favorite but this girl is so I suffer through it :)
She grabbed a couple of things at ULTA and I grabbed a couple of new things to try. So far I am LOVING this cleansing water and this toner.
Babs has been a FAVORITE for years and so I had to grab her latest cookbook...
Both my parents had birthdays last week so we invited them over this week to celebrate.
Yorkshire puddings are my dad's favorite so I had to make those ;)
... and then I also made carrot cake which was TO DIE FOR!
Last, but not least - I have new favorite pants which is a big deal because I don't like pants!

Oh no! I am with you on not getting a snake despite your little lady loving them so much.
