Happy Monday, friends! This weekend was a great one - lots of family time, catching up and staying inside because it was ICK all weekend. I didn't take many pictures and so I actually have a top 8 for you today :)
Luke took the PSAT on Saturday morning and while he was testing I set up shop at Starbucks and graded papers and attempted to get our calendars in order for the month.
While Luke was testing and I was grading Dave, Mason and Griffin made a Hobby Lobby run and went to a jump place for a birthday party. Dave sent me a few pictures and I was laughing so hard at how RED their little faces were the whole time. They had a blast and were WIPED out after ;)
Test done and he was HUNGRY... and yes... he and I polished off that bowl of soup ;)
The rest of the day we just hung out, played and I Marie Kondo'd errrrrrythang. I didn't really "get it" but after refolding clothes and seeing how much better it is I'm a firm believer in the magic :)
This was Griffin pretty much from 1:00 - 5:00 on Saturday afternoon. I love this age.
Speaking of this age... the art is pretty awesome, too.
And G carrying this purse through church (it had her clipboard and markers in it) was cracking us up.
Sunday afternoon we napped, played Monopoly (you know how I felt about that!), I organized a few more drawers and I attempted to start getting organized for a BUSY week ahead.
Hoping y'all had a great weekend and have lots of fun planned for the week!
HAPPY MONDAY!!!
Congratulations to Luke for taking the PSAT! He deserved that big lunch! Mason always looks so Happy--he makes me smile! I love Griffin"s dollhouse-every little girl's dream. You made an "ICK" weekend look great! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! and yes - mason is that happy most of the time :)
DeleteThose drawers make me HAPPY!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, they do! :)
DeleteAnd now I want a hearty bowl of tomato soup for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteDO IT.
DeleteThe big ruffles!! I wish E would wear them they are so cute. And is that kidcraft dollhouse? I feel like you have talked about it before.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE ruffles!!! And it is!
DeleteThis week is going to be so busy but so much fun. That soup looks so good! What a fun and low key weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good one!
DeleteHow do you organzine your calendar chaos?
ReplyDeleteI just try to write everything down before I forget!
DeleteIsn't the PSAT what high schoolers take before the SAT???? I was thinking L was only in the 5th or 6th grade...
ReplyDeleteLuke qualified to take the PSAT by scoring well on his ACT Aspire test. He scores very high across the board and so taking an above grade-level test will help identify any areas of outstanding ability/strength he may have. If nothing else it was a great experience for him!
DeleteLuke getting ALL the bread at La Madeleine is hysterical! That's my favorite thing about that place too, LOL!
ReplyDeleteRight?!?! He was like "mom, I'm going to grab a few pieces of bread" and then came back with and ate all of that :)
DeleteLooks like a nice relaxing weekend! I love Griffin's matilda jane outfits. So cute!
