I'm not sure this weekend could have gotten more festive if it wanted to ;)
Griffin got to go see A Christmas Carol with 6th grade on Thursday...
... and then had a Christmas party with friends on Friday night...
... and I hung out and chatted with my parents for a hot minute (the party was out past their house) which was convenient for when G called for me to come and get her because she wasn't feeling great.
Saturday looked a lot like this for my under-the-weather girly... couch and studying time because exams are this week.
Lots of tea and snuggles and I am anything but mad about it.
Frankie wants a doggie door for Christmas ;)
Luke marched with band in the parade on Saturday night and G stayed home (she was supposed to be in it with cheer) since she still wasn't feeling 100% and so Mason and I hit the square for a little pre-parade-pie...
... and then had fun hopping around the square for the best view and as many opportunities to cheer on or MCA friends as possible.
The parade is always a highlight for us. Lots of nostalgia there!
After the parade we decided to grab some dinner at Spoons...
... and had the CUTEST little outside table right in front of the window. The weather was super mild and we had fun playing backgammon while we ate ;)
Sunday night we met up with my parents and headed to Plano for Prestonwood Gift of Christmas.
It was UNREAL per usual...
... and it just wouldn't be the Christmas season without it!
This week we have half days and exams and THEN IT'S BREAK!!! PRAISE HANDS!!!
HAPPY Monday, friends!!
Love all the festiveness! I am glad that G is feeling better! This elementary teacher is jealous of your half days this week. We are all just in survival mode. Haha! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week.

Question... I drove by Prestonwood multiple times (my great aunt and cousins live in Plano), is it truthfully worth the $$$?
