One of G's FAVORITE people ever had a birthday this week so we scooped her up after school and before dance for some Starbucks and presents.

Last week Dave and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary and after our plans got derailed by some crud that's been going around (and 1000 kid activities) we settled on our FAVORITE takeout and a Netflix documentary. And if that doesn't say "happy 19th anniversary" I'm not sure what does ;)
Mason brought me this picture from our little stash of Christmas pics that I keep on our coffee table (he wanted to laugh at how much Luke looked like a lego minifigure - hahaha) and y'all... LOOK HOW CUTE!!! He was 8 months old looking like a 35 year old man and I can't get enough of it.
Last, but not least - my most FAVORITE of all the favorites is that I survived my last full week of teaching before Christmas break. Next week is half days for exams (PRAISE THE LORD!) and I CAN NOT WAIT!

Happy anniversary! Sorry to hear you were feeling a bit under the weather but I love that you still managed an at home celebration. Both of those throwback photos are fabulous!

I LOVE Standard Time too! I love when it’s dark early as it sets the tone for going to bed, VS Summertime, when it’s light outside until 9PM- We were meant to be up with the sun and winding down in the darkness of evening.
