Friday Favorites

Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week.  Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)

First up on my list of favorites for the week is Pine Cove City camp....

... we signed up to be an "alternate" host home for counselors who are working the camp at our church this week and we have had THE BEST TIME with these sweet girls!

It's been super fun having them stay with us, hanging out, watching movies, eating meals and playing games (of course!).

Another FAVORITE from the week was running into one of our FAVORITE seniors painting her parking spot...

Last Saturday I went and picked up Mason and G from camp and they have a closing show where one cabin is awarded "Camp Champ" (it's based on a whole week of competitions, fat bat stealing and cabin cleaning) and G's cabin WON! In all my years of Sky Ranch none of our kids cabins have ever won so this was super exciting and then they called G to the front to be her cabin representative for the award! There was confetti and the best part was getting to make eye contact with her and see her sweet face before pickup.  The pics are a little blurry but are still my FAVORITE.

GOSH I'm grateful for counselors who pour into my kids during these weeks!

A quick Starbucks run before church for my two favorite middle schoolers...

... this super cute picture of Frank and GG...

... and some one on one time with Mason this week (while Luke was still in CO and G was at day camp) were all FAVORITES.

Tuesday afternoon we picked Luke up from his time in Colorado...

he had such a great 10 days in the mountains with a sweet group of kids and amazing counselors.

FAVORITE!!!

Another FAVE from the week was when Luke put this track hoodie on Rosie ;)

Mason and I played A LOT of one of our FAVORITE games...

... Griffin finally talked me into stopping for her FAVORITE snack...

... and I got around to ordering pics from last week and here are a few of my FAVES

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  1. The camp pics look like so much fun. I spent my summers in college working at a Christian camp on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I started as a camper there and still treasure the memories of both camping and working. I'm still in touch with many of the counselors and we have summer staff reunions to this day. Camp is so good for kids on so many levels. Glad yours enjoyed theirs!

  3. It looks like your kids always have the best time at what appears to be the most perfect summer camps ever! These photos are fabulous.
