Happy Monday, friends!!! Friday one of the counselors who was staying with us had a birthday, so G surprised her in the morning with a big ol' balloon ;)
It was the last day of camp so I got to hear from G's counselor when I checked her out and got to hear the character qualities she picked for G and it was just the sweetest. My favorite part of the week BY FAR.

On Saturday morning we said goodbye to the most precious girls who stayed with us for the week. There were some tears when they left and we'll definitely be signing up to host again because what an awesome experience.
The weekend included some solid "couch time" for us as well as these jokers ;) Rosie is NOT allowed on the furniture but she's apparently forgotten this.

We watched as much of the Olympics as possible...
... and dropped off G for her last Sunday in the Children's building at church. I've been taking kids to this building for 16 years so this was a big one. Sigh.
I brought this dashing gentleman home to live in my basil pots...

... and G celebrated a birthday with a whole crew of the cutest friends.
This is my last week of summer and I'm SO SAD it's almost over - if you're looking for me this week I'll be frantically trying to do all the things I haven't done yet while simultaneously trying to do nothing. hahaha
It does sound like you all had so much fun hosting the girls!
