I wrote a really big post a year or so ago highlighting some of our favorite family games and thought it would be fun to add a few recent favorites to the list. These are games that we've added to the rotation recently that are all so much fun!
I'm not sure how we hadn't heard of Rook before but we started playing it in WA and it is SO MUCH FUN! I love that there's a team as well as individual way of playing and our entire family can play or we can play with pairs.
Taco Vs. Burrito is reminiscent of Exploding kittens and we play with both expansion packs almost daily.
Hues and Cues is unlike any other game we have and is seriously so fun. You're trying to get people to guess your color giving one word clues and it's highly entertaining.
Hitster has been on our favorites list since around Christmastime. It's the PERFECT party game and the variety of music is awesome. I will say - there are some cards/songs that you may not want your kids to hear but as those come up you can pull them out and set them aside for a teen/adult game night.
Again - not sure how Mexican Train is new to us. I feel like we've definitely been missing out. A friend brought it over on July 4 and we immediately ordered.
If you try any of these out I'd love to know that you think and if you have any family faves I want to hear about those as well.
HAPPY WEDNESDAY!
We love Taco vs Burrito at our house!!
