Happy Friday, friends! This has been SUCH A GOOD WEEK! I love the time between Christmas and New Year's.... the relatively empty calendars, the snacks, the time at home, the reorganization projects... I love it all! This week puts a big ol' smile on my face!
Our trees are still up, but I've tidied a few things, cleaned up some of the "extras" like Christmas dishes and such and switched up the mantel a bit for a more NYE vibe.
Typically I bust out all the disco balls and go disco ball/party hat/tinsel garland but this year I decided to tone it down a bit and I'm LOVING IT!
I found this vintage photo from a 1950's Mississippi State fraternity formal and new the exact "vibe" I was going for. I added an antique champagne ice bucket and some star garlands (that I pulled part) and here we are!
I pulled out our 2023 chatbooks for sort of a new year's reflection sort of thing (missing October because I ordered it late - hahahaha)...
... and have LOVED flipping through this new book.
It highlights the art behind the displays at Anthropologie stores and the artists who create it and I've loved it!
Jack Bauer's FAVORITE spot to be this week has been right here ;) We actually moved his little bed in front of the fire to keep him extra toasty.
And speaking of toasty... Mason has a new FAVORITE post-Christmas tradition... burning all of our excess cardboard in the solo stove. hahaha

... and I say this any time I get a break from school but breakfast at home is always my FAVORITE.
