Our halls have been decked for a few weeks now and I'm convinced there's nothing better. GAH. I just love it all so much.
I kept the mantel super similar to last year. I layer a traditional garland with a drapey one from Hobby Lobby, toss in a TON of lights and then mixed in antique-looking ornaments and bells from a local boutique.
I use command hooks to hold everything on there.
The stockings are Nordstrom from several years ago with German glass glitter letters I've had for probably 15 years. And yes... that's a jar of Cheez-Its. hahaha.
The basket has a sweet copper container that I found at an antique mall filled with Christmas photos I had printed HERE. The paper is cardstock-ish and the vintage feel is so good.
My friend Meagan gifted these sweet nutcracker embroidered cocktail napkins at our favorite things party...
... and in the little built-in niche I set out the nativity I got a couple of years ago.
Last year I added this tree and I love it so so so much. I will never quit our big ol' family tree BUT it's super sweet that I get to have a "pretty" tree too.
It's all a combo of browns and golds - the ornaments are a mix of Anthropologie and Birds and Words (a local boutique) and you can find the tree HERE. It's not pre-lit and I had a TON of lights to it - the shape is SO GOOD!
I. MEAN.
I tied in some of the same ornaments into this garland on the TV stand...
... adn kept the console table pretty simple with a bowl for Christmas cards and my moms mouse nativity.
My mom collected these years ago and I can remember picking them out for her for various holidays until she had the complete set.
The bowl is a huge antique cart iron wash basin that I adore.
And every year we just add cards to the collection.
Okay... this was way too many photos... SO I'll share the rest of the house tomorrow ;)
