As my kids have gotten older we've gotten away from the craft time we used to have on a pretty regular basis so today I thought I'd share three projects from my archives that work perfectly in a 12x12 frame and would be DARLING hanging in your home or packaged up for a grandparent gift ;)
This one was SO FUN and produced really pretty and colorful pieces. If you traveled somewhere this summer consider picking a landmark, building, etc. and asking your kids to put their spin on it. You could also pick a local landmark or one from a city/place that interests them.
Treehouse Craft
This was one of my favorite craft projects of all times since it PERFECTLY highlighted all three of my kids personalities. After changing out the frames I kept these in their memory boxes and love them SO MUCH!
Another favorite was this piece inspired by Alma Thomas. It was perfect for my kid who "doesn't know what to draw" and produced something he was really proud of. You could use more neutral or muted colors and have your kiddo create something to display.
