I have a tried and true pork chop recipe that I LOVE but when I saw this one that used the air fryer I wanted to try it out and OH MY WORD it was so good and SO EASY!
Look how delicious these look!
I typically buy the larger bone-in pork chops because they tend to have more flavor and not dry out but they didn't have any the last time I was at the grocery store so I grabbed these...
... and they turned out perfectly! They were moist and not chewy and my kids much preferred that they didn't have the big bones in them. The price is also WAY less than the larger chops.
Step 1 - preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees
Step 2 - In a bowl I combined 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.
Step 3 - Beat two eggs in a separate bowl and dip each of the pork chops into the egg, fully immersing it and then letting some of the egg drip off and then coating both sides in the parmesan mixture.
Step 4 - Place the coated pork chops into the preheated air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes (the internal temperature needs to be 145 degrees)
I really wish I had grabbed better pictures but my family devoured all of them so I missed my chance. I was so impressed with how quick, easy and yummy these were and will be adding them to our meal plans this Fall. I served them with this macaroni and cheese and apple sauce but since they have the garlic/parm flavors they would be great served alongside pasta with marinara sauce as well.
If you give these a try I'd love to know what you think!
HAPPY Tuesday, friends!!!
Well YUM!
