PERFECT One-Pot Weeknight Past

Y'all know I'm constantly searching for an easy one-pot meal and YOU GUYS... this past a couldn't be easier and is so flipping yummy.  We eat it as a side dish (great with grilled chicken, pork chops, etc) and my kids ask for it all the time.   My favorite part is that you don't have to pre-cook the pasta and the fact that the ingredients are things that I pretty much always have in the pantry/fridge.

Here's What You'll Need...
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (2 teaspoons if you're using jarred)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- salt and pepper

What You'll Do...
- melt the butter over med/high heat, add in the garlic and cook for a minute or two

- Pour in the broth, milk and uncooked pasta.  Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed (pasta should be al dente... mine typically takes around 10 minutes).  Stir occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

- Stir in 1/4 cup grated parmesan and serve hot.  The end!

For real.  So simple.  So delicious.  Kid pleaser every single time.

  1. We make this, but add in broccoli and rotisserie chicken and serve with a side salad. So good!
