Friday Favorites

   Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week.  Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)

The past few days our family has been enjoying one of our FAVORITE weeks of the year - family camp in Colorado!  I'm writing this post a week early in the hopes that I don't have to get my computer out at all while we're on this trip so my FAVORITES are going to look a little different this week as I share a few of random things and a few FAVORITE finds and recent purchases.

Dave and I have a new FAVORITE show and it's SO GOOD!  It's a comedy but also a murder mystery and there are so many incredible actors in it.  Every character is perfectly cast and it's just WONDERFUL!

Griffin picked out a new backpack and it's SO CUTE!  The colors are her FAVORITE!  Since my kids wear uniforms they don't get that "back to school clothes" shopping but G does love to pick out a new backpack ;)

I know it'll be months before I can wear  this cardi out of the house but the color combo is my FAVORITE and it was on sale so I felt like it was a sign ;) It also comes in an olive/white combo if that's more your jam.  I think it'll be great with this tee, these leggings and some cute sneakers this Fall!

I grabbed these Birks and I'm OBSESSED!!! I've had them in navy blue for a few years but Mason now wears the same size shoe as me and he stole them ;) so I needed a pair he wouldn't try to take.

When we went to NYC I wanted a bag that I could carry crossbody that would be big enough to hold my DSLR camera and 

I picked up a couple of pairs of  these shorts for Griffin and they are DARLING!  They're half the price of the Nike shorts she wears all the time and from what I can tell so far the quality is super comparable.  They have the built in liner which she LOVES and the length is great on her.  I bought her mediums and while they're a little bit big they stay up, are a great length and she'll get at least another summer of wear out of them. 

I've had a couple of really great finds for Griffin lately - I picked up  this dress for her after seeing it in person and the colors are DARLING!  It would be perfect for any "back to school" events you might have like meet the teacher, first day of school, etc. but doesn't scream back-to-school either so she'll be able to get a ton of wear our of it beyond August/September.

Pair it with a cute accessory (like this headband!) and you're golden!

I picked up  this dress for our NYC trip (in a different color but the pink is sold out now) and it couldn't be more darling.  I sized up to a 10 for Griffin and she got a TON of compliments.

Her rainbow shirt was  part of a set that is SO CUTE!  It read a little bit PJ together but couldn't be sweeter as separates. 

My boys FAVORITE summer shorts are currently on clearance if you still have a hot season ahead of you or want to stock up for next year.  They're awesome because they can go from the pool to "play" as they dry super fast but they don't look like they're wearing a bathing suit.
