Today I'm sharing one of my kids VERY FAVORITE recipes - pizza bread! This is a fun and easy alternative to regular pizza night and would be an awesome appetizer to preslice and serve at a party.
Here's What You'll Need...
- 2 cups of shredded Mozzarella
- 1 package mini pepperoni
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan (3/4 -1 cup if you're using shredded)
- fresh basil, chopped
- parsley, chopped
-1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
- marinara, warmed
Here's What You'll Do...
Combine the parmesan, Mozzarella, oregano, parsley, basil and pepperoni (I just chop up some basil and parsley - probably about 1/3 cup each).
Combine your grated garlic (we LOVE garlic so I'll use 4-5 cloves depending on the size... just grate some into a little bowl and it'll be fine) with your olive oil and add that to the cheese/pepperoni/herb mixture.
Cut up your biscuits into quarters and toss them until coated. There will be LOTS of loose cheese and pepperoni and stuff in the bowl - no worries!
Place into a greased bundt pan and bake at 325 for about 40 minutes or until it's getting golden brown.
Serve with warm marinara and enjoy!
SUPER simple, kid-friendly and adjustable to your tastes using different meats, cheeses, veggies, etc. My kids GOBBLE this up and I hope yours do too!
HAPPY Tuesday, friends!!!
This looks SO good!
