Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!!   Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us!!!!  If you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or both!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

Our annual "Back-to-School Brinner" is one of my FAVORITE traditions and I can't wait to put it together for our family next week.  I'll share the details next week but in case your kids go back early like mine you can click  HERE for last year's post

Dave and I have been watching Longmire this week and it's a new FAVORITE.  It's kind of like CSI meets Yellowstone and we're here for it!

Free People is my favorite brand for dresses and I just snagged  this dress in my FAVORITE color and I can't wait to get it in!  It's on sale for half off and then I got another 15% off since I joined  the UP program (you pay $48/year and get 15% off everything at Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters)

And speaking of dresses, I ordered a few things for Griffin that I am so excited about! She's outgrown so many things this summer and I think these will be perfect for Fall (I use Fall loosely since it's like 85 degrees here in the Fall) ;)

First up is  this dress which I think is DARLING!  I adore that bow in the back!

I also grabbed her  this green cord dress which will be so cute with the cowboy boots she's obsessed with this Fall and tights in the Winter.

My FAVORITE part of my kids going to camp is not cooking :) That paired with me working daily has led to some of my FAVORITE things for lunch so I thought I'd share.

I am 100% a Turkey Toms with provolone and cucumber at Jimmy Johns (add mayo ALWAYS!)...

... and if you're local you HAVE to try the chicken pesto pizza at Cavalis (with the Irving salad).

And Dave and I had a date night (what what!!!) and I got to introduce him to Glorias which is my FAVE!

This was my view for a good portion of the week.  My FAVORITE meeting snack is always Sour Patch kids... this week was the blue raspberry variety :)

Y'all.  I am SO EXCITED!!! A friend of mine was at Dillards this week and texted me a picture of a red, white and blue Bogg Bag... let the record show that I don't need another Bogg Bag but LOOK AT THE STAR HOLES!!!  She grabbed it for me and I'm so pumped to add it to my collection.

Last, but not least - last night was one of my very FAVORITE nights of the year... Meet the Teacher!  Our school has SO MANY new students this year and I am so excited!

Short and sweet today because honestly I've spent all my time at school getting ready for the first day.  We're picking up the kids tomorrow and I can't WAIT!  The week has FLOWN by and I can't wait to hear all about what they've been up to and give them all the biggest hugs!  If you need me this weekend I'll be doing camp laundry :)

HAPPY FRIDAY, friends!!!

  8. Love that Bogg Bag and a wee bit jealous! I have had ZERO luck finding one anywhere. Everyone near southeast Texas is out of stock.
