Super Easy Taco Pasta

Today I'm bringing you one of the easiest recipes in my repertoire ;)  It seriously couldn't be simpler and it's SO TASTY!!!  It can also be one pot if that's your jam which makes it even better.

Here's What You'll Need...

- 1 lb ground beef

- 1 box penne pasta

- 1 block cream cheese

- 1 packet taco seasoning

- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, cheddar jack, etc.)

Here's What You'll Do...

Step 1 - Cook and drain the pasta

Step 2 -   Brown the ground beef.  Add in 1 cup water and 1 packet taco seasoning and let it simmer about 5 minutes (or until most of the liquid has cooked off).  Add in 6 oz of cream cheese and stir until melted.  Add in about a cup of shredded cheese and the cooked penne pasta and stir until it's all creamy and combined.  IT'S SO GOOD!

This really couldn't be simpler and it's something that all my kids will gobble up.  It makes PLENTY for everyone (typically with leftovers) and is great to have in the rotation because I typically have everything on hand.  If you make it I'd love to know what you think!

HAPPY Monday, friends!!!

  2. I'm wondering . . . if I don't have cream cheese, would a cup of sour cream be a workable substitute?

  3. I make this and after I combine everything I put it in a casserole dish and sprinkle more cheese on top and bake at 350 until the cheese is melted and it's bubbly, SO SO GOOD!!

  4. You just gave me my dinner plan for tonight! I had defrosted ground beef with no idea what I was going to do with it.
