Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us!!!!  If you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or both!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

Luke had his final band concert for the year and along with playing fabulously he received the Outstanding Musician award.  It's no secret that Dave and I loved band growing up so it's so fun to see Luke loving it as well! For sure a FAVORITE moment!

Griffin (and Julie) enjoyed the concert...

... and the music sparked Mason's creativity :)

Pool time was a FAVORITE earlier in the week (it's been super chilly the last few days)...

... and outdoor dinners as well...

Some of my FAVORITE skincare products are on sale this week!  You can read about all the products I love and why I love them HERE.

A lunch date with just Mason was a FAVORITE - quality time (and chicken tenders) is 1000% his love language.

When we were done he asked if we could just go home and watch a movie together in my bed.  FAVORITE!!!

Griffin had volleyball pictures while I was gone last week and apparently she packed her FAVORITE shoes in her volleyball bag just for the occasion.  I had no clue until I saw her pics this week and I love it so much :)

I was at Sky Ranch last week with the 8th grade class and  this bag was my FAVORITE...

It held a ton and I loved how you could access the small zipper pouch without unzipping the whole thing.  It has backpack straps as well which I used the whole time.  It's GREAT!!!  (It also has a built-in laptop sleeve!)

This was one of my FAVORITE school trips to date - Sky Ranch does school programming RIGHT and spending time with someo f my FAVORITE coworkers is a highlight of the year for me.  I really don't think I laugh as hard all year as I do during these 3 days ;)

Hanging out chatting and eating ice cream isn't a bad chaperone gig :)

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  1. The Yard and snuggles with your boy? Perfect day.

  2. It's the inability to put on a mask for me.

Oh, and the constant deleting of my comments that are concerned with your lack of ability to do the right thing and wear a mask instead of engaging in a conversation. You're why this pandemic is out of control.

    1. Hey, emily! I published your comment yesterday and addressed your concerns. In regard to your previous comments - this isn’t a public forum, it’s my blog and no, I haven’t published your frequent comments because they were accusatory, divisive and misinformed. If you’d like to get in touch with me in the future you can reach me via email.

    2. I don't understand the constant need to try to "shame". If you don't like what she is doing on her blog simply unfollow. It is very easy!

We live in Texas where the mask mandate was lifted months ago because our cases are so low.

    3. Leave her alone - she is a bright spot in the world right now. YOU are why this world is such a hateful place right now. You must have missed the "if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it at all". Its easy to hide behind a computer and type hurtful things - why do you come to this bright spot if all you want to do is be mean!

Andrea - I don't know you personally but I can't imagine a better person and mother. Keep doing what is best for you and your family!

By the way have you seen the news? Texas has had zero deaths in months
