Friday Favorites

HAPPY Friday, friends!  This week has FLOWN by for me and I still can't believe I'm writing this post! ;)  Usually January is 11,000 days long so I'm hopeful!

Erika and I are so happy that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

Monday we headed out to my parents place for the day with a couple of our FAVORITE "extra kids" and had the BEST time!

Football...

....volleyball...

... kickball...

... checking on the quail...

... playing on the hay...

... lots and lots of exploring...

... and s'mores!  Doesn't get much better than that!

Oh!  And I ordered a couple of swings for the big tree down by the pole barn and my dad got them hung up.  THEY'RE SO MUCH FUN!!!  I ordered  this basket style as well as  this flat one and the kids love them both.  I thought the basket one would be fun to bring a blanket out there and snuggle up to read and would be better for my nephews.  They hold 600 pounds and are UV resistant so I'm hopeful they last for years and years.

I've mentioned before how much Mason loves the churros from Costco and how absolutely DEVASTATED he was when they stopped selling them in the cafe... well... looks like they're coming back!  The amount of y'all who tagged me in or sent me this photo on IG is my FAVORITE! hahaha

I know lots of us have been laughing at the Bernie memes floating around social media and these are my FAVORITES...

CAN NOT DEAL!

I grabbed a few boys swimsuits from Nordstrom Rack last week and they're our new FAVORITES.  The prints are preppy and fun and the shorter length is right up Mason's alley.  They're under $20 and have POCKETS!  If you end up placing a Rack order there are also some great deals on kids shoes right now as well.

It was Wild Week in middle and high school this week (it's a spirit week for Winter sports) and these fun days are always some of my FAVORITES.

There was nineties day which made me feel simultaneously WAY TOO OLD as well as nostalgic :)

Space buns for the win!

There was also monochromatic day...

.... and mathlete or athlete day ;)  #mathforever

I've mentioned before that while I miss my kids being babies and toddlers having "big kids" has MAJOR perks like when your kid makes their own breakfast for dinner after a crazy busy day.  FAVORITE!!!

Last, but not least - one of my co-workers is also a chiropractor and he recommended  this massage gun for my shoulders and tension headaches and Y'ALL.. it is THE BEST percussion massager I've ever used.  It is insanely powerful, comes with several attachments (the one with the prongs is a miracle worker for my headaches that start at the base of my skull) and comes in a carrying case for everything.

Seriously can't say enough great things about it!

I hope that y'all have had a great week and have fun plans for the weekend.  Weh ave plans to watch Griffin cheer at a basketball game tonight, and then Mason has a basketball game on Saturday and the rest of the weekend I think we're just going to relax!

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  5. I am adding that massage gun to my cart as a birthday hint to my husband. Tension headaches are brutal for me, and if this helps I am ALL about it. Thanks for sharing!
