Happy Friday, friends!!! Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.
Three little besties after volleyball....
... these girls are each others FAVORITES and it's the sweetest thing ever!
Griffin dancing her way from my classroom to the car was another FAVORITE moment from the week. Hoping she keeps that free spirit forever!
Griffin has a new FAVORITE outfit and I expect we'll all be seeing a lot of it this Fall :) The sweater is lightweight and super soft and under $15 and the same goes for the jeans at under $18. She's in the 6/7 size in the pants and the 6/8 in the sweater and I felt like both pieces were a really great deal for the quality.
Mason was in some football pictures this week (I think they're something to do with homecoming but I really don't know - I just dropped him off on the field and picked him up when it was over - hahaha) and hanging out with the "big boys" was his FAVORITE part of the week.
And alllll the Homecoming memories flooding my FB memories this month have been my FAVORITE! Look at that baby three years ago!
I wore some of my FAVORITE silicone and pearl bracelets with my FAVORITE Walmart shirt (and a pretty awesome filter - PRAISE HANDS) one day...
Mason had some of my FAVORITE art pieces this week from art class...
... as well as just his regular doodles :)
He also worked SO HARD on his regions of Texas brochure. Adding that to his keep bin for sure!
We have a new FAVORITE bedtime read as well. "Mary Wears What She Wants" is bold and uplifting and visually super cute. It's inspired by the early life of Mary Edwards Walker and is a fictional account of her rebellion against the traditional dress of women and girls in the mid to late 1800s. One of my favorite parts of the book is how her dad supported her decisions. It's a great one!
Jellybean's FAVORITE spot this week has been her bed in front of a sunny window...
... and we found out that Griffin loves the orthodontist as much as she does the dentist :) I've mentioned before that G LOOOOVES going to the dentist and she was pretty pumped when she got to go to the ortho with her brothers earlier this week. It was just an early evaluation and she was super disappointed to find out that she doesn't have to go back for a whole year! hahaha
I hope y'all have the BEST weekend! We're excited to watch some volleyball and football, hang out with our small group and (maybe!) fit in some pool time if we're lucky.
HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

Mary Wears What She Wants. Now THAT'S a book I might love to read. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy youngest always loved the dentist and later the orthodontist. Her ortho office always knew if we called, to ask the issue and they were ready with the right instruments and supplies to fix her up when she arrived (they learned early that Anna was always spot on as to what the problem was). Needless to say after high school Anna got the basics of college out of the way and entered Dental Assisting school and then after working the required year as an assistant she entered and finished Dental Hygiene (while working full time as an assistant) with flying colors. She has gone on to learn all of the front office and bill collecting procedures as well. At 25 she is the youngest dental employee to have learned, and do, every job in a dental office. SO, all that to say since Griffin loves dental so well now, she just might end up in the dental field as her career. Maybe even a dentist! :)
ReplyDeleteThat GG...she's a spitting image of you and your mama ;) .
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong of me to want a mesh backpack like Griffin and her friends?! Haha! I love her grown up Starbucks photo. Also, Mason looking so serious in the football photo is major cute.
ReplyDeleteLOL about G's love for the orthodontist. I hated it.
ReplyDeleteThe bedtime story about Mary Edwards Walker sounds amazing.
That book looks great! I was just reading a historical fiction novel where women faced being arrested for wearing inappropriate clothing and dressing "like a man."
ReplyDeleteThank you for the book recommendation- I always love your choices. Just grabbed that for my daughter and two goddaughters:)
