Happy Tuesday, friends! Today I'm recapping a few of the fun things that have landed on our doorstep in the past few weeks.
I've had these flats for a year or so and wear them ALL THE TIME with leggings. Unfortunately Rosie got a hold of one but I was grateful to find them on Amazon for under $30!
Mason and G were both in need of a booster seat upgrade. Theirs were grimy and Jelly Bean did a number on their arm rests when she was teeny (I KNOW!!!) and even after washing the covers they were just in bad shape. I ordered two of these backless boosters because Mason will sit in one all the time and then we'll have an extra for carpooling to games and practices which we've been doing often.
And I also ordered this booster with a back for Griffin and honestly I may send back one of the backless boosters and get another with a back because Mason sat in Griffin's and REALLY liked it plus if anyone is going to fall asleep in the car it's him and I'd much prefer he be positioned better in one of these when that happens.
I mentioned getting tension headaches the other day on my IG stories and had so many people tell me to purchase this specific magnesium supplement. I've been taking it for a few days now and haven't had a headache (I had been getting them daily) so I'm hopeful that this is what's helping!
Griffin started volleyball and needed white knee pads and navy spandex shorts and Amazon came THROUGH! These are pretty basic and not too bulky for her...
... and the shorts are a great length and really really good quality. I ordered her the small in the shorts and she's typically a size 6 (sometimes a 7) in pants/shorts.
And speaking of extracurricular activity purchases, Griffin needed a new leotard and shoes for ballet and she is LOVING this one. I wanted her to wear it and wash it a few times before giving it a full thumbs up but it's passed the test! So cute and fits her really well and the quality is awesome.
I also got her this skirt to wear with it and it's so pretty!
And last, but not least - these are her ballet slippers of choice right now because they're easy to put on, they stay on and they don't have that little elastic bow thing at the toe.
I also ordered another package of these hair pins...
... and these bun insert things since a slicked back ballet bun is required for her class. I STINK at ballet buns but these two things (along with a good boar bristle brush and spray bottle) make it happen!
Last week I did a little "refresh" on our master bedroom bedding. I ordered a fresh set of our favorite sheets...
... and a couple of silk pillowcases for my side of the bed. I honestly don't think I've slept that well in MONTHS! I can't remember the last time I bought new pillows so it was TIME and these are perfection and a great price. The silk pillowcases are dreamy and while I can't tell if they're actually helping my hair or my skin they're nice and cool and super comfortable.
Mason is working hard on his multiplication facts and I ordered this set of flash cards to use when he's practicing. The quality is AWESOME and they're definitely something that we'll be have for the next several years and will be able to pass along when we're done. I like that I can pull out the facts that he's not working on and they self check with the answers on the back.
Last, but not least - I ordered our "go to" boy birthday present. It's THE BEST glow basketball and has been a hit for everyone we've given it to. The basketball itself is a great ball and I love that you don't have to turn it on/off - it just automatically comes on and shuts off when your'e not using it. It also comes with lots of extra batteries which is a plus!
Happy Tuesday and HAPPY shopping, friends!!!

ReplyDeleteI ordered the gel pillow for my daughter over the summer when we refreshed her room and I have been contemplating adding them for myself. Good to know you like them. I do find it funny how heavy they are!
ReplyDeleteMy ob/gyn told me a few years ago to take Magnesium to help with my migraines and they've helped a lot...I'm adding those you suggested to my list for the next purchase since everyone said they're so good. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAll the dance stuff :) .
ReplyDeleteOrdered that magnsium before I even finished reading your post- ha! Praying it helps my daughter! (Do you just take the dosage recommended on the bottle? Or a specific amount for migraines?)
ReplyDeleteOrdered the sheets and can't wait for them to arrive. I've been shopping for some already and this post couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI ordered those pillows before I even finished reading the post. It was TIME for us also. :)
ReplyDeleteOrdered the magnesium. I'd do anything to find some relief from my tension headaches. I get them every darn day.
