Happy Bday Luke

Y'all.  Luke is TWELVE!!!  TWELVE!  I still can't believe that his birthday is happening out during a pandemic quarantine BUT his attitude about the whole situation pretty much sums up his personality perfectly.

Luke is flexible, loves being at home, is easy-going and independent.  He's still a HUGE Harry Potter and Lego fan, loves to fish and while I'm sure this isn't how he anticipated 5th grade ending he is SO READY for Middle School.

I'm not sure anyone other than me cares to see 20+ pics of my kids on their birthdays but that's okay because looking through a year of camera roll for my favorite pics is a birthday tradition at this point.  What a great year 11 has been!!!

Happy Birthday, Luke!  Love you to Maine and back!

  1. We're celebrating two birthdays over here during this pandemic...my oldest daughter, Erin, turned 31 on March 26th and I'll be celebrating mine (#55) on April 13th. I always cook the girls their favorite supper on their birthday. This year I cooked Erin's at my house and took her some and left it at her front door (her dad is a diabetic and since Erin works for the government and still has to work we can't be around her). We plan to celebrate big time as soon as all this is over!

  5. Happy Birthday, Luke! Enjoy your day!

Andrea - I've been reading your blog for so long that I feel like I know y'all (isn't that weird?). Next year at this time, you're gonna have a teenager in the house!

  11. I gotta tell you.. I always envisioned having a boy and naming him Lucas/Luke, and him being my first. And if that happens and he is ANYTHING like your Luke, I will be exceptionally grateful. Happy 12th birthday to him!!
