Happy Friday, friends!!!
Erika, Narci and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.
First up on my list of FAVORITES is Griffin learning to ride her bike without training wheels! SHe's been riding non-stop ever since and has even been pulling tricks like waving, standing up on the pedals, etc. FAVORITE!
Puzzles have been a FAVORITE again this week. I shared lots of our tried and true brands and favorite puzzles in this post.
Another FAVORITE part of the week was playing with the "view in 3D" feature on Google... we laughed SO HARD!!!
Our FAVORITE local flower shop was selling "joyful jars" this week - all grown on their farm and delivered straight to our porch. Fresh flowers are my FAVORITE and since we wouldn't be making any Trader Joe's runs any time soon I bought some ASAP! Griffin was SO EXCITED to get to drop one off on her teacher's porch. I turned around when we pulled up and snapped this pic and I feel like her pure excitement was tangible!
I mean - LOOK HOW GORGEOUS!!!
I've been changing out of pj pants this week (WIN) into leggings or joggers and comfy shirts like this one. It's super soft, on sale and a FAVORITE.
We rode bikes over to my parents earlier this week to stand 6-feet apart in the driveway and chit chat a bit. They pulled out this big box of old McDonalds (and other) toys from my childhood and the kids filled up my bike basket with trolls and such to take home. FAVORITE!
Mason inventing cat toys involving a fishing pole - FAVORITE
And Facetime playdates were a FAVORITE...
I moved this plant to G's bookshelf a while ago and apparently the spot is it's FAVORITE... look at all that growth!
Mason and his friends are working on a comic book via ZOOM and their little conversations are my FAVORITE...
... and Jellybean's FAVORITE spot is in the kitchen window.
Another FAVORITE was coming downstairs to see this happening...
.... and front porch snuggles (back at the beginning of the week when it was 40 and not 90 degrees)
HAPPY Friday, friends!!!
PS - this post contained an affiliate link... thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!
Something our neighborhood area is doing is a bear scavenger hunt based on the book 'Going on a Bear Hunt'. People put bears in a visible place so children, particularly, can see them as they go for walks! Books and bears for a win-win!
ReplyDeleteYour blog posts continue to make me smile. Thank you.

For all of us who grew up in the 90's, I think we're going to need an entire blog post showing off all those McDonald's Happy Meal toys your parents saved. All the nostalgia. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Griffin on learning to ride a bike without training wheels! That is so exciting!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the blogging photo with lizard. My hope is that this quarantine time will inspire a large body of creativity - your kids working comic books and cameras and interesting software is an example. I don't envy those having school age children home at this time, trying to do school - in a week or so 2 of my college aged children will start college again on-line, but that's totally different. Hang in there and do well! I'd link up but I think this link party has a different focus ;) http://jeanneselep.blogspot.com/2020/03/orchid-kaleidoscopes.html
ReplyDeleteCan you share the local florist? I need some joy in my life right now.
ReplyDeleteYay for no more training wheels! I love all those puzzles; and here I was proud I finished a 500 piece one.
ReplyDeleteMason and Gary....my fav.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are gorgeous!!
