Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  It's been a super busy week around here - Spring sports started, I leave for the 8th grade trip next week (which means a ton of prep this week both for the trip and for my 7th grade classes that will be at school), we had appointments, today is Math Olympics and tonight is the Manda Strong Gala!  It's been a whirlwind for sure!

Erika, Narci and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

First up - SOCCER STARTED!!!! Soccer is her FAVORITE and she couldn't have been more excited!

Football also started and while I didn't get any cute pics of Mason I can assure you that his smile was HUGE!  ;)

Next up  - is my new favorite podcast!  My mom recommended The Bible Recap to me and I jumped right in.  Essentially you read a passage in the Bible (for example Job 1-5) and then you listen to the podcast for a little mini-study on it.  It takes you through the entire Bible chronologically and I've already learned a lot.

Found this in her backpack this week - new FAVORITE!

And my FAVORITE Christmas flower finally bloomed!  I swear that I bought this in November but it bloomed this week and it's gorgeous!

A few of my FAVORITE sweaters are on sale for 40% off right now...

My kids Kiwi Crates came this week and Luke said it was his FAVORITE one yet!  He MADE that ukulele!  MADE IT!  I've been nothing but impressed by these crates over the past year.

I'm heading to West Texas next week and after looking at the forecast you better believe I ordered an XL box of  these FAVORITES :) hahaha

This month has been "bring a stuffed animal to class" month for Griffin's Jazz/Hip-Hop combo class and for the final week she brought  her FAVORITE Narwhal...

These two besties couldn't get enough!  (PS - their friendship and silliness is my FAVORITE!

It was a LONG week and when I went to pick Griffin up from ESS yesterday she had fallen asleep (she NEVER does this!) and a few of her friends set up a "chair fence" around her and made a special sign to keep kids from stepping on her.  SWEETEST!!!

PS - I was 100% sure I was going to wake her up to find her feverish but she popped up cool as a cucumber and in a happy mood!  PRAISE HANDS!

Y'all know that Jerry is my FAVORITE from Cheer and this graphic made my day!

Glasses are still her FAVORITE...

... and my FAVORITE 3rd grader had his first orthodontist appointment this week.

Whew!  It's been a busy but great week and I hope y'all can say the same.  HAPPY (almost) weekend, friends!!!

  1. LOVE the Bible Recap! I've been doing it since the beginning of the year and I think she does a fabulous job with the podcast. Enjoy your weekend!

  2. I started the Bible Recap, and really liked it, but I got behind and then just felt defeated and gave up. Are you also reading the passages or just listening to the Podcast??? I feel like I should just pick back up where I stopped, even though the days would be off.

  5. YES!! The Bible Recap has seriously amped up my Bible reading situation. I absolutely love Tara Leigh Cobble and her podcast. I really love that she gives a ton of "facts" and not just what she "thinks" the scripture is saying. Yep. I'm a fan, obviously.

  7. Griffins fence and sign, such sweet friends. Your Amaryllis did not grow much. I wonder if that is why it took so long to bloom. I grew one for the first time this year. Mine was very tall and had 4 blooms. I loved it.
