Friday Favorites

Someone PLEASE tell me how on earth it's already Friday?!?!  This week has FLOWN by but at the same time we've packed in some great family time AND decked our house from top to bottom.  It was a productive week!

ErikaNarci and I are all sharing our FAVES today and we'd love it if you'd join us and share your own FAVORITES this week as well!  All you need to do is grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

Surprisingly, I think that if you asked any of my kids (or me!) what one of their FAVORITE things we did this week was they'd tell you raking leaves.  Now, that may have something to do with the HUGE leaves that we blew into a pile and played in before raking them but STILL :)

Mason fell and Griffin giggling in the picture below cracked me up :)

Another favorite from the week was our annual trip to the Gaylord.  This year we decided to check out the ICE! exhibit since so many of y'all RAVED about it.  Dave and I had been before but the kids hadn't and when I found a 50% off coupon (code DELIGHTFUL) we decided to give it a shot.

We put on our hats and parkas and headed in...

... it's definitely cool to see BUT it was quick and pretty crowded and if I'm being 100% honest isn't something that we'll probably go back to year after year.  We're glad that we went, but for $85 (the half price cost for our family) I feel like we could get a better bang for our buck elsewhere.  There was an ice slide at the end that was their favorite part (duh) but again, the lines were long which wouldn't normally be a big deal but when it's 9 degrees the wait seems really long :)

Out and warming up with a toy soldier...

... and then we grabbed cookies, checked out the fountains and chatted it up for a bit about the ICE exhibit

Obviously we've been to the Gaylord lots of times, but we'd never been in the evening and it was neat to get to see it all lit up at night.

On Wednesday I took the kids to see Frozen II and we all LOVED IT!!!  I did feel like the storyline was harder to follow than the first movie (which I think could make it less engaging for younger kids) BUT the music was great, there was a hilarious 80's power ballad and I loved that Elsa was ROCKING some leggings :) hahaha

If you were looking for me at any point this week I was probably sporting some of my FAVORITES...

As much fun as we had being out and about, my MOST favorite moments happened at home.  There's nothing better than quiet, uninterrupted time to play and be creative.  THE BEST.

Okay, so let's talk Black Friday.  I'm not going to bombard you with sales BUT I do want to highlight a couple of deals...

First up - Springfree Trampolines

I've sung their praises for year now and we recently upgraded our trampoline to the largest one they offer and IT IS AMAZING!!!!  These trampolines are so safe and the company is INCREDIBLE when it comes to customer service.  If you're in the market for  a trampoline for Christmas I HIGHLY recommend doing some research and then coming back to Springfree to make your purchase.

Black Friday Sale (11/22 – 12/1) (Up to $649 Value): You can receive between $200-350 off their trampoline (depending on the size). During this time, you'll also receive a free Flexr Step ladder and up to $200 off delivery/installation. USE PROMO CODE: USBF19 (in-store and online)

Anthropologie is running 30% off of EVERYTHING!  Here are a few of my FAVORITES...

... the sneakers are true to size and so comfy and the leopard dress is half off!!!  Such great finds!

I also picked up  this top (size small - true to size) for 50% off and can't wait to wear it with leggings and flats.  The details are SO PRETTY and the length is perfection.

I also grabbed  this sweater (size small as well)  and it is the CUTEST fit!  It's also 50% off and will be a staple this winter.

Over the past year I've become a huge Colleen Rothschild fan and she's currently offering 30% off her entire site!  The cleansing balm is my absolute favorite beauty product ever!!!  You can read about the other products I use in this post.

And the one that I'm SUPER excited about is  our nugget ice maker!!! It's $120 off which is the cheapest I've ever seen it...

It's something that we use constantly and it's been absolutely wonderful.

Last,  the Dyson stick vacuum that we love is $150 off!!!

Whew!  Happy shopping and HAPPY FRIDAY, friends!!!

  3. We love going to the Gaylord, it is such a pretty hotel! I do agree that ICE is a little overrated for the price. I brought my family from the midwest one year and they were not impressed with paying to be so cold!
