Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, Friends!!!

ErikaNarci and I are sharing our FAVORITES for the week and we'd love for you to link your Friday Favorites post with ours at the bottom of the post (don't forget to grab our graphic and link back to one or all of us!)

This week has been a busy one but filled with so much good stuff!  First up are Griffin's new  FAVORITE pajamas from Dressie Jessie!

For the past several years  Dressie Jessie has sent Griffin a pair of jammies for her and her baby (THANK YOU!!!) and they are always her favorite of the season not just because she can match but because they're SO CRAZY SOFT.

You can grab our own pair (or anything else on her site!) for 20% off using the code ANDREA20 through the end of the weekend.  If your daughter has a bitty baby (or is getting one for Christmas!) these would be a sweet Christmas eve gift or surprise from your elf on the shelf.

Thanks again to  Dressie Jessie for the PJs...  LOVE sharing about your shop!

Next up on my list was one of Mason's favorite parts of the week - a field trip to the Heard Museum here in McKinney.  They have an awesome outdoor dinosaur exhibit...

... and got to go inside their nature center as well. (this picture totally freaks me out!)

My FAVORITE part was that Dave got to go along and chaperone.

Griffin's FAVORITE way to watch her iPad?  With a kitty in her lap :)

Tuesday night we drove out to Ft.Worth with friends and despite the awful traffic getting to see this on the way out there was my FAVORITE...

The TCU tree lighting was AMAZING!  They had an incredible fireworks show and Johnnyswim performed and it was just such a fun time.

My FAVORITE part was when we got in the car and Mason goes, "Man... I can't wait to go to college" :) hahaha  Too bad it's not all cocoa and fireworks, friend!

I shared this picture on my Instagram feed earlier this week and I had several questions about what app I used to create the snow.  It's called Just Snow and it was so easy to use and had a ton of different options - I think it's going to be a FAVORITE this winter

After sharing my gift guides I had several requests for a teacher gift guide - I put one together in the Spring and you can check it out HERE.  I feel like a lot of the recommendations on the post would be great for other people on your list as well (co-workers, secret santa, friends, mailman, etc.)

I ran out of time to make  apple crisp at Thanksgiving (plus with this pie and pumpkin pie it wasn't really a necessity) so I made it earlier this week and have been bringing a scoop of it to school in a coffee mug to heat up for breakfast.  It's been AMAZING!!!  I'm going to have to make another one next week to bring as a mid-morning snack for my co-workers.  It's super easy and just as good in the evening with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I hope that y'all have a wonderful weekend!!!  Happy (almost) December ;)

  7. I had pumpkin pie for breakfast twice last week so apple crisp is absolutely acceptable as a breakfast choice:). Happy Friday, Andrea!

  8. Is the snow app you used the one called Snow - Beauty and Camera Makeup? Doesn't seem right, but I don't see any others called Snow...I've been dying to find a good snow filter!

Also, the pics of Griffin in your room are precious - the lighting is great!

  11. Ha! Maybe I need to check into some local university tree lighting ceremonies to get my boys motivated for college.
