Today is an EXTRA Happy Friday y'all because I'm officially on BREAK! I'm running by my classroom this morning to drop off a few things for my classes and then I'll be watching the kids choir performance before heading home to start decorating the rest of the house for Christmas! WOO to the HOO!
I've never been a "cat person" but this kitten is my FAVORITE! :) We're all pretty smitten with Jelly Bean and it doesn't hurt that as soon as we get home she pretty much demands that I hold her like a baby.
It's hard to say no to that face, am I right???
I have a letter board in my classroom and putting extra cheesy math jokes on it (especially seasonal ones!) is my FAVORITE!
The kids were anxious to get our Christmas decor out this week (let's be honest - I was too!) and we compromised and decorated the playroom to hold us over until we have more time to do the rest of the house.
Watching them decorate their little tree is one of my FAVORITE parts of Christmas!
I think this branch might need a couple more ornaments :)
This was seriously the best picture I got of the three of them ;)
After we decorated we busted out "Bug Bingo" which has been a much bigger hit than I ever expected!
I have a few more touches to add in here, but this is my FAVORITE classroom view to date.
Griffin brought home this "U for Unicorn" paper this week and it's one of my FAVORITES!
I know I already talked about Jelly Bean - but look how sweet!!!
I feel like I've been MAJORLY slacking in the cooking department after being sick and so I stepped up my game Wednesday night and made chicken pot pies, cheeseburger pie and monster cookies (for Griffin's cookie exchange at school). Some of our FAVORITES
One of my very FAVORITE pictures ever showed up on my facebook feed yesterday.
Look at that baby!!!
Festive outfits are my FAVORITE and this shirt I ordered for Griffin did not disappoint! Now if we could just get some cooler weather so she could wear it.
This came home in Luke's binder this week and it's my FAVORITE! Apparently it was an assignment in tech class. Sweet boy!
And you know I loved Griffin's....
... and Mason's thankful art as well :)
PS - Mason's says "Jelly Bean, Jack Bauer and family
Our FAVORITE time of the day is checking out the tree before bedtime...
And last but not least... some of our FAVORITE people are in the process of adding to their family through domestic adoption and I wanted to share their profile in case you know someone who might want to check it out. You can click HERE to read more about Tim and Meagan, their family and their desire to adopt. Tim and Meagan are amazing parents, loyal friends and some of the most genuine people we know and we can't wait to see their adoption story unfold!
I hope that y'all have a WONDERFUL weekend planned! I'm cooking for a group of freshman boys for our church's DNow weekend, decorating for Christmas (woo hoo!) and (hopefully) heading to the lake! Happy HAPPY Friday, friends!

ReplyDeleteI love Griffin's Coffee Mug shirt. Super cute! And we have two cats although I do NOT consider myself a cat person (why is there a stigma there when it's much cooler to say dog person?). :)
