Show and Tell Tuesday - Home Tour

Happy Tuesday, friends!  It's Show and Tell Tuesday - Home Tours day and I love this day!  I adore seeing people's style reflected in their decor and can't wait to go through all the posts!  I've shared various rooms throughout this past year (we moved in last May) but think it will be nice to have a post with everything in one place!

Come on in!!!

I'm still wanting to paint the entry, family room, the game room and the living room a "lighter and brighter" color - but we love all the light!  And check out how big my fiddle leaf fig has gotten this year!

Not much  has changed in the living room since the last time I shared it - I pulled the rug and changed up the decor a little bit on the shelves, but other than that it's pretty similar.  I'm REALLY wanting this side table to replace the one in between the chairs.  What do y'all think???

Not much has changed in the office... that huge chalkboard is going to go to my classroom next year but the kids have had fun drawing on it while it's here!

There was a canvas hanging here, but I hung this Christmas verse sign by Vine and Branches and love it so I've left it up.

The shelves are home to a few really special little things... Luke made me the tile, the trombone mute was from my band days and the pheasant tin belonged to my Oma... she always kept tea biscuits in it on top of her refrigerator and it's such a special memento.

The door on the left is our craft closet - click HERE to see what I keep stocked in it :)

The only changes that I've really made in the dining room are adding more touches of white to the shelving unit (also... real life picture with the box on the table and messy kitchen in the background!)

I feel like I've shown the family room and kitchen several times decorated for various holidays...

and OF COURSE.... Christmas!!!

Our kitchen is the real heart of our home and we spend the majority of our time right here...

And for fun... this is what it looked like when we moved in...

Our master bedroom hasn't changed really at all since I shared it... but I'm hoping that will be happening early next year...

Upstairs I've made a few changes in the game room...

I've added a few plants, changed around the bulletin board and chalkboard...

... and added these frames with some of the kids art (my FAVE!)

I also painted an old table to match the vintage blue chair...

I'm not 100% sold... but it's good for now :)

Mason's room is pretty much the same...

He's still loving his art caddy...

And his art table is still the "hub" of his room :)

He's constantly switching out the art on his wires and LOVES having pictures of him and his favorite people up there as well :)

Since my last post about Luke's room we've added some art above the bed...

... some Lego storage...

... and his Lego creations and such are constantly changing on his shelves.

I think Griffin's room has probably changed the most.  I found a rug I LOVED and kind of went from there...

The bow holder I got at a local flea market....

The rug is definitely a statement piece and I love the color and fun it brings to the room...

And just a few accessory changes in the kids bathrooms...

And then the backyard that I shared last week...

Hope y'all enjoyed the tour!!!  Happy Tuesday, friends!

  4. Isn't it amazing what a transformation painting the kitchen cabinets can make? It made us feel like we have an entirely new home. Your sofa table is my favorite part of your home. Love how you use it to pull in seasonal decor.

    1. Yes! When we were picking what to do when we moved in that was the top of my list for that exact reason. ;)

  5. I love your kids bedrooms! Griffin's rug 😻 Love your style. Painting kitchen cabinets was 👍🏼 & definite yes on side table. Accessible beige & Alexandra beige are great colors. I think both sw. Can't wait to see changes to master bedroom, as I need to do something to my own. I'm trying to get better at home decor but ugh I just hate spending money on tables, plants & knock knacks. I'd rather eat delicious food or buy my baby cute clothes! If it were me, I'd knock out wall in btwn living & dining rooms & open space up that much more! Love your use of color! Do you ever just feel like you have SO much stuff? Esp as kids make, bring things & get gifts? I'm constantly purging & paring down "stuff" keeps me calmer!

  6. I love that you finish your spaces even if you're planning to re-do them! I am terrible about following through with hanging things on the walls! I am so much happier in my spaces when they are complete...you're inspiring me! :)

  10. Such a beautiful home, Andrea! I'd have to say painting your kitchen cabinets was an AWESOME decision. It doesn't even resemble it's previous self. You have a wonderful talent for making your home both pretty and inviting.

  19. Hi Andrea! I'm sure you've answered this before, but I can't find it....where is that rolling art caddy from? Ikea?

  20. Hi Andrea-

Where did you get your rug that's in your loft and the rug that is in the kids bathroom? We just built a house and i'm "copying" your kiddos room decor. I didn't realize it until I stumbled on this post when searching the day bed on google! We already have the white Hemnes dresser and were torn on what bed to use. You have confirmed our decision to go with the day bed!
