With Halloween just around the corner I thought today would be a great time to show y'all a few of the Halloween touches we have out around the house.
Come on in!
The wreath I made last year (or maybe the year before) and the gingham is still my favorite.
The ghost and pumpkin luminaries are from HomeGoods, the pumpkins I found at Trader Joes (they have the BEST pumpkins!) and the chalkboard I used to use to decorate our mantle.
In the living room I just switched out a few things on the shelf to make it festive...
LOVE the little white pumpkins!
The pumpkins with the masks I've had for years as well as the little potion bottles.
The big chunky frames I picked up a few years ago and I need to update the Halloween pictures in them.
The dining room...
The handprint plate we made when the boys were 3.5 and 6 months and it's my absolute favorite Halloween decoration. ;)
In the family room I added shutters and pumpkins to the mantle...
The shutters I found in the attic in our old house several years ago. They were part of the wet bar that the old owners had taken down and I love them for Halloween!
The garland was a Homegoods find...
I switched out a few things on the console table as well...
This haunted house lights up at night and the kids get the biggest kick out of it!
The big bumpy pumpkin is from Trader Joes. I'm a sucker for the bumpy lumpy ones :)
The little countdown calendar on the hall closet door I grabbed at Pottery Barn kids last year...
I took these when it was getting dark... but you get the idea....
There are a few more touches upstairs including the Halloween tree that the kids have been having a BLAST decorating and some BATS! But I can't find the photo ornaments I made a few years ago so I'm going to redo them this weekend, take some pictures for a tutorial and share it all next week. For now there's this...
So... do you decorate for Halloween or are you more of a general "Fall" decorator?
Hope you enjoyed our festive little tour!
