Several different people have tagged me in pictures on IG, sent me links to Etsy shops and emailed me about shirts similar to this one saying that it's PERFECT for G :) I can't imagine why!!! hahaha

Before we talk about her current hair situation, let's look at this sweet baby EXACTLY one year ago....
... and then this past April. WHOA MAMA!!! Over the summer her pin straight hair started to get a little bit curly - and over the past couple of months it's seriously gotten out of control. :)
Are y'all DYING?!?!?!
I ADORE these sweet crazy curls - and then homegirl rubs banana through it :)
For the most part she leaves her handbands on - but she REFUSES to wear clips. I can put a teeny tiny little clippy in her hair and she immediately rips it out. I can put the worlds biggest headband and she'll leave it for hours. SIGH. The exception is during mealtime when she doesn't want ANYTHING on her head. I think this weekend I'm going to grab a package of little elastics and maybe attempt some piggies??? Brace yourself for some cuteness on IG if she'll sit still long enough for me to pull it up :)
Since we're talking about crazy hair - my hair is crazy long right now and last week at the scarf exchange I pulled it into a fishtail braid. Thoughts??? I liked it - but it was a pain to do. I am a horrible braider (yes.... I can make a giant American flag, make a headband out of old t-shirts before church and decorate the JUNK out of my house for a holiday - but hair braiding is NOT My forte) and I felt like this took me a sweet forever..JPG)
Enjoy your day, friends! Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Start thinking about your Favorites and get ready to link up!!!
I love G's hair! Love, love, love, love it! And listen, I'm sure you'll watch a You Tube tutorial and be an expert braider by noon...that's just in your cards friend ;).
ReplyDeleteI love the fishtail braid. I never was very good at braiding either. When my oldest was little, my Hubby braided her hair. He was much better at it than I was!
ReplyDeleteI think G's hair is absolutely precious! My Annalee has wild curly hair like that too and I just adore it!
I LOVED YOUR BRAID! LOVED IT!!!!!! And I love G's sweet curls too!
ReplyDeleteYour braid was darling, and I love Griffin ' s crazy hair! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think your braid looks perfect! And seriously get griffin the shirt!!! Love it
ReplyDeleteAw I love GG's sweet hair! And your fishtail braid! Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the braid. As a fellow crazy long haired mama I totally understand that it is a pain, takes a lot of time and usually ends up messy a few hours later. BUT, it looked great!
ReplyDeleteI have seen so many doing the fish tail lately and love it. No surprise you did it, and it looks perfect!!! I also love your girl's curls. She is precious!!! I also can't wait to see your pics of her hair in pigtails!!!
ReplyDeleteI love her hair...and yours......so jelly!
ReplyDeleteGriffin is precious and I love, love, love your fishtail braid!!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is SO cute! I just love her hair! It reminds me of my daughters at that age. And I think the fishtail braid looked great;-)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute braid! Griffin is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteG's hair reminds me of my Gracie's hair....out of control, ha! Grace's hair gets so curly and crazy when it's warm out but now as it's getting longer it's starting to straighten out a little more. Girl is a hot mess most of the time. Cute pics as usual and I think the braid looks great on you!!!
ReplyDeleteYour braid looks good! Much better than what I could do! lol!
ReplyDeleteNow onto to GG! This post is busting at the seams with cuteness! LOVE IT! Keep it coming! And I can't wait to see the pigtail photos!
I love, love, love G's crazy hair! It's so fun and I will be sitting by waiting to see "piggie" pics on IG!!! I love the fishtail braid. I'm awesome at braiding hair, but cannot do anything else you mentioned!! :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute fishtail braid!!! Your daughter will love for that hair when she is older!!! Beautiful!
ReplyDelete3 of my 4 girls have curly, crazy hair. I actually think it is more forgiving than the other girl's relatively straight hair. When they were little (and still sometimes my 8 year old) we have "no brush" days and we just either put it in a pony, messy bun, or where it as the hot mess it is :) Enjoy G's hair, she is so precious :)
ReplyDeleteI love the curls. My little guy has crazy curls too. They kill me. I am also the worlds worst at braiding my hair. I just want to french braid my bangs back and all the thousand other adorable things I see on pinterest. It is depressing. But your braid looks adorable and I am a bit jealous. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my- that hair is precious!! And where did all those teeth come from?? :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that hair is precious!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteMy baby is 2.5 years old and he may be the perfect future husband for Griffin. He'd understand. ;) His gets bigger and bigger as the day goes on. See here: http://www.apageisturnedblog.com/2014/06/a-bittersweet-milestone.html
