Back in 2020 we had to cancel all three of our kids birthday parties and I pivoted to themed birthday dinners and THUS an awesome tradition was born. As my kids have aged out of themed birthday parties I've been able to do my "thing" and create these special dinners for them. They get to pick what they want to eat and then I surprise them with the theme and decor.
Luke was turning 18 and I realized that he has NEVER had a Lego party! GASP! Can you even believe that?!?! CRAZY, right?!?!?!
I found the wrapping paper at Homegoods which turned out to be PERFECT...
... and then bought this set of Lego plates and napkins. I used 12x12 scrapbook paper for the placemats and then bought these glasses as a fun touch.
I bought these balloons but then popped the 8 while inflating it. UGH!
Luke asked for key lime pie so I picked one up at HEB and then topped it with these candles.
I grabbed this mug and the quality is SO GOOD!
The night ended up being a bit chaotic with a golf tournament that went hours late BUT we all were able to eat together and celebrate Luke and it was AWESOME!
I still can't believe he's an ADULT, y'all!!!
