I'm back! We had yesterday off of school and it was SO NICE to just really enjoy Sunday afternoon and evening and I completely forgot to get a post up.
Saturday morning started off a bit cloudy but it cleared up quickly and was the most GORGEOUS day! We hung out, I did some Easter prep and then later in the afternoon we got showered and changed and ready for church.
G and I wrapped up a puzzle...
.... and then the four of us drove to church to meet up with Dave who had been at work.
After church we headed downtown for dinner (one of our FAVORITE Easter traditions!)...

... so we had to grab another after dinner. Grateful for this crazy crew!
We got home and went on a walk...
.... watched a movie and then I was up the next morning to prep some breakfast...
We did Easter baskets...
... and the kids helped Dave with some backyard stuff while I set the table and finished up some lunch prep.
G helped me prep the deviled eggs...
... and then my parents got to our house for lunch.
I'm here to boldly proclaim that I think that Easter food may be better than Thanksgiving. I said what I said.
We went on a post-lunch walk and mini egg hunt...
... followed by dessert, golf and a nap ;)
We rounded the day off with some shenanigans...
... and early bedtimes. THE BEST EASTER WEEKEND!
