With Easter coming up I decided to do an "Easter themed" House game last week and it ended up being so much fun! I had the pizza boxes on hand and the eggs at my house so I didn't even need to buy supplies which was a big bonus!
So I took two of the pizza boxes from this game (I collapsed and kept all the boxes from last time to reuse) and traced a hole just a tiny bit bigger than the eggs in the center of each box and then cut the hole out. I taped the sides of the box up as well just to keep everything sturdy.
I had each student use their hand to cover the hold from underneath and then put 30 eggs of their House color into the box and they had to "sift" the eggs through the hole.
There was no bouncing allowed, only back and forth motion and MAYBE a bounce if the egg got stuck in the hole.
We have four houses so we did this as a bracket..... red vs green, then blue vs yellow and then the winners vs each other and in about 25 minutes had enough time to get through five entire brackets so lots of kids got to participate which was awesome.
Since we play our games in the gym I threw down a blanket for them to sift onto so the eggs wouldn't bounce everywhere - but if you did this over grass it would work even better!
This would be a super fun addition to your Easter festivities this week so grab some plastic eggs and get after it ;)
HAPPY Tuesday, friends!!!

This looks like so much fun. Thanks so much for sharing. Happy Tuesday.
