Weekend Happies

Happy Monday, friends! This weekend was a good one so I thought I'd give a quick recap. Friday was extra happy becuase it was a short day and I wore my Thankgiving pies sweatshirt even though it was way too hot. hahahaha

Friday night all three kids headed to their host homes for Disciple Now weekend with our youth program at church.  We laughed so hard when we pulle dup to G's host home because one of her friends from school had accidentally been given the girl host home address as his house. Had to snap a pic of these sweet school friends.  

Luke drove himself, Dave dropped Mason off and then it was time for my FAVORITE pizza!!!  The chicken pesto pizza from Cavali's is my all-time FAVORITE and the restaurant closed this summer and it was DEVASTATING! Well, they re-opened and I'm pleased to report that the chicken pesto is JUST AS GOOD as it's always been. 

Saturday I spent the day cleaning and putting up our Christmas decorations while the dogs did a lot of this ;) 

I headed to church laster in the day to help serve dinner to the youth kids...

and I got to see my kids for a minute which made my heart happy.  G was eager to tell me that she had a bracket fall off her tooth... so it was just hanging on the wire. hahaha OF COURSE!

I'm sure I'll see more pics at some point but one of my friends from work was a host home and sent me these pics which made my day!!!

Saturday night Dave and I went and saw Wicked 2 and I'm happy to report it did not disappoint!  Seriously. SO GOOD! I'm sure I'll be back to see it again sometime this week (G is seeing it tonight with friends) because I don't feel like once was enough.  And yes... this is a coke icee - it's my favorite "treat" at the movies (I can only let myself get it at the movies - hahaha). 

Sunday we did a whole lot of this... the kids were all WIPED when they got home and the day was pretty perfect for naps and just hanging out.

This week we're looking forward to slow mornings and family time!  HAPPY Monday, friends!!!
