Friday Faves

Happy Friday, friends! Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week.  Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)

MAN! What a great week it's been.  It's been a little bit slower than we anticipated but I have so enjoyed the time at home with my kids along with the slower pace.  It's been WONDERFUL!

Last Friday night we went to Sharon's house for a crawfish boil and the only pic I took was this one of Mason with a baby ;) hahaha Sharon and Mike are so much fun and there were A TON of former students there (Sharon's boys are all older and graduated from MCA) which completely blew my mind.  Seeing my former middle-schoolers as full-fledged adults was a TRIP but seeing how many of them are still friends and still hanging out was my FAVORITE!

When Luke got back from San Antonio his attempt at sunscreen was my FAVORITE ;) (it was totally gone by the next morning - no worries!)

Track meet last Saturday meant a little bit of hangout time with Mason and G including a trip to Chilis for the triple dipper ;) hahahaha

Luke ran really well despite being "off" for the week prior and being wiped out and watching him run is always my FAVORITE.

Open mug and sunshine is a FAVORITE.

Family games way too late are a FAVORITE...

... and  this silly goose mug is my FAVE.

This brave girl is my FAVORITE...

.... and Frank has been her FAVORITE nurse this week.

I finished a puzzle - this one is a new FAVORITE.

These GORGEOUS ferns from Costco were a FAVORITE...

... and Luke has been dog-sitting this week and this sweet girl has been hanging at our house and she's all of our FAVORITE ;)

Could she be any sweeter?!?!?!

Four dogs are not in our future but they sure are cute!

With G's surgery on Monday we kept St. Patrick's day suuuuper low key but you KNOW I coldn't let a holiday go by without a little something fun.

Other favorites from the week include pottery painting...

... antique hunting...

... McDonald's caramel sundaes...

... steak Caesar salads...

... and some time with my almost-Junior at SMU.

The campus is GORGEOUS and it was the perfect weather day for a tour.

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  3. What a great week, I do love taking things slow.
Eek! Luke was so lucky with the sun burn, I am glad it was gone the next day. Good job to him with the running.
That goose mug is so cute!

  4. Wow, that Frankfurter is really growing! Looks like he's definitely up to foot long size at his point. LOL! Love him so much and wish I had a Frank in my life! And on a different note, your kiddos have been adorable since the day they were born. And it's also obvious that they are all truly wonderful human beings. Bless them all.

  5. That sounds like such a fabulous week! I remember a sunburn in high school that was so bad on my shoulders it literally scarred for a few months. BUT I definitely learned my lesson after that. Glad his was cleared up by morning.
