Playroom Christmas

 I thought I had my act together to show y'all all of our Christmas decor today BUT I'm having some technical difficulties so I'm going to share the playroom today and then the rest later this week.

Honestly, not mad about it because the playroom is my favorite part of the whole house at Christmastime ;)  Our "fun" tree has grown and evolved over the years and it is an absolute hot mess of fun, funny and COLOR.

As far as ornaments go - the more random the better ;) 

With bonus points for fun color.

Some are sentimental (this space Santa is from last year's North Pole Breakfast)...

But the majority are just anything bright and fun.

When the kids were younger everything was felt and soft with shatterproof ornaments and over time we've morphed into mainly glass but kept some of the fun felt pieces and wool garlands.

I don't really do anything on the couch... these pillows are typically everywhere with kids and blankets sprawled out all over it...

The advent calendar is old from Pottery Barn Kids...

And every year I say I'm going to change up the chalkboard and then every year I write the same message ;) 

I put out a few of or Christmas books along with my FAVORITE nativity...

YEARS ago we went to the "Enchant" Christmas light show thing and they had this whole little "market" section and I found it at one of the vendors there.  I've searched for at least 5 years and have never been able to find it!

The painting I bought several years ago and then the other nativity set I just bought at Fair and Square Imports downtown McKinney. It's handpainted and from India and I LOVE IT!
