Christmas Home Tour Pt II

In the kitchen I have my mom's mouse nativity out on a tray along with an amaryllis and a covered cake stand that typically has some sort of goodies in it ;)

My mom collected these pieces when we were growing up and I love having them to display!

I have a stack of dessert plates on the table ready for said treats or morning toast or whatever.

And then another amaryllis and nativity in the kitchen window.

I added my pewter nativity on the console table and it cracks me up because my kids move the pieces daily ;)

The big bowl on the bottom shelf holds Christmas cards...

I didn't change up a whole lot on the mantel this year,...

I layered a faux pine garland with some drapey ones from Hobby Lobby and then mixed in ornaments I found at Birds and Words last year and LOTS of twinkle lights.

I added a plant to a vintage champagne bucket...

... and paired that with a glass box of photos fro past Christmases.  One of my absolute favorite little touches.

I probably should have moved Rosie's bed to take a pic of the garland on the TV stand but such is life ;)

More layered garlands and more ornaments from Birds and Words...

I LOVE THIS TREE SO MUCH!!! It's 1000% my style and the excessive amount of lights and the glass ornaments are my absolute favorite things.

Last, but not least - I moved my vintage ornament tree into our bedroom this year so I could see it more often and I LOVE IT!

We have this little "nook" in front of the windows where I have a super cozy chair and a table with all my books and bible pens and all of that and the tree just brings me SO MUCH JOY in this spot.  I can also see it from bed at night which is just the best.

This ornament collection started with a handful of ornaments from my grandparents and has grown as I've collected ornaments that I love at antique shops and online.

My happy place for sure!

HAPPY Wednesday, friends!!!

  2. Your little pink tree is just the sweetest!! I have taken your idea of printing photos from past Christmases (or rather I have made a folder of photos to print for this but haven't been able to do it yet!!), it's a great way to look back even though there isn't room to keep everything framed.

  3. I love your tree with vintage ornaments on it! I am making a note to put a tree in our bedroom next year. We love looking at twinkle lights and what better place to put one!!
