Weekend Recap - Homecoming Edition

 What a whirlwind of a weekend!

Friday morning started off with a pep rally...

... followed by a day full of school spirit ;)

PTF made all the teachers mini mums...

... and I wore mine with my mustangs denim jacket and some glitter freckles that I bought for Griffin who politely told me she had "real freckles" and didn't want to wear ;) hahaha. 

I painted some spirit jeans for G and thought they turned out SO CUTE!

I was able to catch the end of the sophomores vs freshmen guys volleyball game...

... and then it was time to head home and rest up for the football game ;) 

The middle school girls cheered with varsity during the first quarter to help with the elementary girls.  I still can't believe that my girl is one of the "big girls" now!

Dave helped out with band...

I chatted with a friend in got to enjoy this view...

.... G cheered during halftime (she's the one in the center)...

... and then enjoyed nachos in the back of a golf cart...

... Luke sent me this cute pic of him and his Hoco date...

... and Mason left after halftime to have a sleepover with this crazy crew.

Saturday morning we were up and at 'em bright and early to head to school for Luke's District XC meet. 

The sunrise was STUNNING!!!

Luke PR'd and made 2nd team all-district (he was one person away from 1st team!) and the morning was absolutely perfect weather.

Mason helped course marshal...

... and it was a fantastic race.

Saturday night we met up with some sweet friends for pre-dance pictures...

These three have been friends since PreK!

The kids headed to the dance and Dave and I headed downtown with Mason and G.

We stumbled upon a Dia de Los Muertos festival with was so cool!

We ate on the patio at Square Burger....

... and a group of my former middle-schoolers walked by so we had to take some pics ;) Aren't they so cute!

After some pie from Emporium...

... we drove by a few homes in the historic district that are prepped and ready for Halloween.

Phew! Sunday was a fun day, too but I feel like I've inundated y'all with pics so I'll share those another day.  HAPPY Monday, friends!!!
