So my Halloween bins have been sitting in my dining room since the end of September. Like... at least 4 weeks. I have had approximately zero time or motivation to get it done, but after a crazy busy week last week I had some time this weekend and decided that it was now or never. I'm SO GLAD I ended up putting things out becuase I really do love making the house feel festive and Halloween decor is my official gateway into the holiday decorating season and I'm PUMPED!
So without further adieu here are the Halloween touches I put up around our house this year!
I put out a set of these ghosts on the tray in the kitchen and I love them SO MUCH! They're handmade and I can't wait to continue to grow my collection year to year.
I also added some little iron bats to my cactus...
... some of my favorite black/white mugs and plates on the island...
... a cute little marble tray...
... and a ghost and one of my very favorite decorations EVER the handprint/footprint plate from 2011.
I set out some ghost mugs in the glass cabinet...
I added a skeleton to this big bowl for fruit on the table...
... and then just added a stoneware black crow on the console table.
In the family room I added a ghost throw blanket...
... and another set of ghosts on the coffee table.
The mantle is this pre-lit garland mixed with some black gauzy fabrics I've had and used year after year.
I also had a bunch of Halloween pics printed and I set them out in this cute wooden tray and we have all loved looking through them nightly.
In the living room G put out the galvanized houses I've had for years...
... and added in our little felt trick or treat friends ;)
One last set of ghosts on this little antique dresser....
... and another ghost throw blanket on the chairs (which I forgot to grab a picture of).
I put out a few Halloween dishes and serving pieces...
... and love having them out for easy access and decor.
Sooooo... I'm realizing now I forgot to take pics of the game room, office and entry table so I'll snap those later this week and add them in.
Better late than never, friends!!! HAPPY Tuesday!
I love the way you add little touches of spooky goodness throughout your home! So many fun things to explore! I especially love the photos on the tray! What a fun way to remember and reflect!
