Friday Favorites

Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week.  Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)

Short and sweet today because this has been one of the busiest weeks EVER and I AM EXHAUSTED! hahaha. Just being real - my WORD going back to work has kicked my rear end!

Yesterday was the back-to-school bash at school where kids get their schedules, meet their teachers, etc.  Typically my kids are at camp but they got to go this year and I still can't believe G is in middle school!

Look how CUTE these two little besties are!

Comparing schedules ;)

So grateful for moms that fill in the gap for me when I'm working!!!  LOVE THESE PICS!

G helped out at a school event last night and it was her first "official" cheer event and seeing her in that uniform is a FAVORITE!

Fantasy football draft is checked off the list!  These boys are some of my FAVORITES!

FAVORITE!

Another FAVE? Late-night dinner on the couch watching the Olympics.  Amen.

G got her locker all set up and ready!  WAY cuter than either of her brothers ever made theirs ;)

Luke helped out some teachers at school by hauling off their donation items - crazy seeing him pull up at school and load a truck.  FAVORITE!

G had a final summer sleepover with some of her FAVORITE friends...

... we soaked in some of the last FAVORITE days of summer...

... and G went to Kickstart weekend last weekend so she's officially part of the youth group at church.

That smile is my FAVORITE!

Last, but not least - a FAVORITE from my week was getting "proof of life selfies" like this when I was in meetings this week ;)

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  1. I feel ya! Beginning of the year teacher/Mama tired is a real thing. Looks like the kiddos enjoyed their last days of summer. It's amazing how fast summer goes by.

  3. Aw, her locker looks fabulous! It is really crazy seeing your kids do such adulting tasks like driving a pickup and helping load/move things isn't it?

  4. Oh my goodness! I remember that re-entry phase and how chaotic and stressful the transition was from the blissful days of summer to the mad fury that came with the beginning of a new school year! As a kindergarten teacher, I'd spend workshop week working 12 hour days at school followed by a few more at home, all while getting my own kids ready for the new year! Those first few weeks of a new school year were always such an adjustment! Now I'm retired and enjoying my grandkids and while I miss it all (yes... even the crazies), there's nothing like a snuggle from my Littles! (P.S. It's my first time commenting but I've been a long time reader... I love your blog! Wishing you and your family a wonderful school year!)l
