Last night was our annual. back to school brinner and while I wish I had something super fun and new to share, this is one of those traditions that my kids are pretty particular about when it comes to the menu and it's the time of year where I don't have the mental energy to get super creative ;)
The notebook paper and apple plates along with the napkins are all from HERE...
... and you can find the wooden chargers HERE.
I always mix in some faux apples and small globes I bought years and years ago...
... and put all the food out on cake plates because #cute ;)
I have a few vintage school items like this bus and a bell...
... and other than that the decor is pretty minimal!
We always have scrambled eggs...
... sausage balls...
... cinnamon rolls...
... coffee cake and yogurt....
... and some sort of fruit.
We pray for our teachers, talk about what we're excited about and reminisce about our favorite parts of summer.
This breakfast for dinner started out of "necessity" as I was stressed over making Luke's "first day" of school breakfast special while still being at school super early and managing my own first day and I love that it's stuck and is one of our family's longest-standing traditions.
Happy back to school season, friends!!!
I love your blog but it has become nearly impossible to enjoy reading it for all the ads 😢
