Weekend Recap

HAPPY Tuesday, friends! I had every intention of posting this yesterday BUT we had the best day on Sunday and were all snuggled up watching a movie and I couldn't make myself get up to write this ;) hahahaha

We did something a little different this year and headed to church on Saturday night instead of Sunday morning...

... and we loved it! 

After service we headed downtown...

... and had dinner at Sugarbacon on the square.

We hadn't been there in forever and everything was DELICIOUS!!!

The square is starting to get prepped and ready for Arts in Bloom and was looking darling ;)

Then we headed home for Easter baskets..

... and then Sharon texted me and told us to come over for crawfish BUT G and I were already in pjs so we stayed home and Dave and Mason headed over there.  A little while later I got a facetime call and found Mason living his very best Boese-life ;)

SHE EVEN CONVINCED HIM TI SUCK THE HEADS! I can not even! hahahaha

Sunday morning Dave headed to church to volunteer, I got brunch prepped and ready and the kids slept in a bit...

... before my brother and his family and my parents came over for brunch.  I'm not really sure how this "prom pic" came to be, but I'm not mad at it ;)

We brunched, hunted for eggs, ate too much candy...

... gave Frank lots of snuggles...

... played cards...

... and gave Frank even MORE snuggles ;)

After they left we played some Easter poker...

... napped...

... and got dinner ready.

Then we went on a family walk and watched a movie.  THE MOST "chill" and relaxed day and it was wonderful!!!
