Happy Friday, friends! PHEW! WHAT A WEEK!!! I've been camping in Big Bend with 8th grade STEM students since Monday and I can confidently say that my own bed and a hot shower are my FAVORITES ;)
Last week Griffin competed in the ACSI speech competition and watching her work so hard toward a goal and GET IT DONE was the best! She competed in "patriotic oration" by memorizing and reciting "Ain't I a Woman" by Sojourner Truth and earned a superior rating as well as third place.
Didn't hurt that her bestie was there too!
Last weekend these two had some craft time and watching them create and hang out down here making a mess was my FAVORITE!

Last, but not least - Luke has been in Costa Rica this week with school and we pick him up tonight! I can't wait to hear all about it but I feel pretty safe saying that this will probably be one of his FAVORITE trips ever ;)
