Kitchen Sink Cookies

I made these "kitchen sink cookies" on my Christmas baking day and OH MY WORD were they a hit.  They're that perfect mixture of salty and sweet and they were really easy to put together.

What You'll Need...

- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed pretzels (I used pretzel chips)
- 1 cup potato chips (I used Ruffles)
- 4 graham crackers, broken up
- 1 cup toffee bits
- flaky sea salt

What You'll Do...
1) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  Line two baking sheets with parchment paper

2) In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, or in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugars until they are creamy and combined (I used the paddle attachment of my stand mixer for about 2 mins).

3) Add in the vanilla and the eggs and beat again, scraping the bottom and sides of the bowl until everything is mixed together.

4) Stir the flour, salt and baking soda into the wet ingredients and mix just until they're combined.

5) Add the chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, potato chips, graham cracker pieces and toffee bits and stir until evenly distributed.

6) Scoop balls of cookie dough onto the cookie sheets and space them about 2 inches apart.  Top with additional pretzels and/or chip pieces.  Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.  Let them cook for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
