WHAT. A. WEEK. Y'all. Busy is an understatement. I always joke that the time between Thanksgiving Break and Christmas Break is just "hold on and try not to fall off" time and that rang true all week.
That said, over the weekend we were able to head downtown for one of our very FAVORITE McKinney events - Home for the Holidays. It doesn't look like face painting and snow hills and petting zoos anymore but we had a really fun time as a family.
We had Rosie with us and she made LOTS of friends.
One thing that's always the same? G in a Christmas sweater ;)
The patio at Cadillac Pizza is our new FAVORITE! SO YUMMY and super pet friendly if you have your dog with you!
Luke had his cross country end-of-the-season banquet this week and it was such a fun night. Look how CUTE!
The coaches give out the "regular" awards but the best part was the special awards that they not only created but CRAFTED to give the kids.
Luke ended up with the Mustang Award (basically the character award for the team) as well as the "Worst Shave" award for his AWFUL leg-shaving job before state.
Another FAVORITE from last weekend was McKinney Christmas at church. Griffin sang in Children's choir and it was SO SWEET.
Listen. The activity schedule is currently killing me. It's so much driving. BUT, I'd be lying if I said that having them in the car with me isn't my FAVORITE. I know this time is fleeting and they'll be driving themselves before I know it so I'm trying to soak it up. EVEN IF it means driving all over kingdom come ALL THE TIME.

And Tuesday night was one of my FAVORITE nights of the year because it was our girl's recipe exchange and favorite things party! THIS IS MY FAVORITE diner of the year!
