Friday Favorites

Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week.  Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)

First up is HALLOWEEN!!! I still can't believe that it's over but, MAN, was it a good one!

We've shopped Trish Scully costumes for YEARS and when Griffin was looking online she IMMEDIATELY wanted to be Elvis.  It's technically a boy costume but she was adamant that she could wear it and WEAR IT she did!

UGH! Just so fun! I'm not sure how many more years we have of being THIS excited about a costume so I'm indulging her in all of it ;) hahaha

Mason was at a friend's house for the night living his BEST life...

... and Luke humored me with this one pic before a bunch of his friends came over to hang out.

G's bestie came to trick-or-treat...

... and it was a PERFECT night.

We came home for soup and candy sorting and it was just the best.  I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

On Monday we headed down to Waco to watch Luke run in the state meet and had some extra time to kill on the way so we stopped at Spice Village and hands down my FAVORITE part was this tree.  I  LOVE these handblown glass ornaments!

It was about 40 degrees, misting rain with 20 mph winds. NOT IDEAL! But we bundled up (new FAVORITE poncho blanket here!) and had the best time with our FAVORITE coaches...

... and runners ;)

It was ROUGH out there but it was still a great finish to the season.

... and despite FREEZING we had the best little day together (Mason is MIA because he stayed back in McKinney with buddies so he wouldn't miss basketball tryouts)

Grateful for this group of young men!

The sky on the way home was my FAVORITE!

Last Friday was pajama day and G is FINALLY a "big dog" and I just can't believe it's the last pajama day for our family!  It's been a blast!

Her FAVORITE part? The breakfast after ;)

Watching Mason create is one of my very FAVORITE things.  This week he whipped up this poster for his social studies class in about 15 minutes!

Last, but not least - every year G and Rosie have a costume together and this year was SO GOOD!

Cutest little Velma and Scooby!  (with a Jack Bauer cameo!)

EVERYONE should have a Rosie in their life!

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  3. Griffin rocked that Elvis costume! It looks like it was made for her. The Velma costume is pretty cute too. I'm going to have to remember those blanket ponchos for Christmas gifts; those are genius.
