What's Up Wednesday

            Today I'm linking up with  Shay and  Sheaffer to talk a little bit about what's been going on around here! I missed out on this last week when I pressed pause on the blog to get caught up on some school things but wanted to share anyway ;)

I'm pretty confident that I've mentioned this orange chicken before but in case I haven't you get it at Costco and it's SO SO SO GOOD!!!  I serve it with the most perfect rice ever that I make in  this rice cooker and it is seriously delish.  I get it at Costco and it's perfect for an easy weeknight diner.

Ugh! This Memorial Day memory popped up this week and had me ALL UP IN MY FEELS!!!

THE NEW LITTLE MERMAID!!!

YOU GUYS!!! Dave and I took Griffin to go see it on Sunday night and I loved every single thing about it.  EVERY. SINGLE. THING.  I thought it was close enough to the original to be absolutely nostalgic but fresh as well.  I thought Ariel and Ursula were PERFECTION as well.  SO SO SO GOOD!

Well, the boys have been at church camp since Saturday morning and I've been LOVING catching a few glimpses of them via Facebook ;)

I WAS dreading sorting through my kids closets but I'm happy to say that I made my way through G's closet as well as a couple of bins that I've been holding onto and IT IS DONE! Donate, sell, pass on... it's all sorted and out of my house and it feels SO GOOD!

Well... now I'm working on this kids closet ;) hahaha  Y'all say a prayer!

It's been a hot minute since G got a hair cut and she wants to keep growing it out through summer so she can pull it up off her neck and I'm SO EXCITED about getting to play with her hair a bit ;)

I always LOVED doing bubble braids and French braids on her longer hair and I'm excited to get to play a bit with her hair this summer.

Dave and I just started watching Outlast on Netflix and I'll keep you posted on what we think!

I'm reading  The Southern Bookclub's Guide to Slaying Vampires and am LOVING IT!  It's so much fun and I can't wait to share what I think when I'm done.

The Little Mermaid Soundtrack - hahaha  With the boys at camp G and I have been listening non-stop!

Leggings and sweatshirts (and a/c) all day every day. The end.

NO CLUE! And I love that!  Hopefully the same thing I've been doing for the past week... a whole lot of nothing!

Our CA trip and DARE I SAY I'm looking forward to Disneyland?!?!  Who woulda thunk!  Did Griffin and I both pick out Minnie Ears?!?! YES MA'AM!

We went to a Memorial Day Dallas Symphony Orchestra concert in Lake Highlands and it was SUCH a great night.

The music was wonderful, the weather was great and the fireworks were awesome!
