Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us every week. Make sure that you're grabbing our graphic, linking back to us and sharing your own Friday Favorites post ;)
Today is going to be short and sweet because MAMA IS TIRED! ;) hahaha
Our last day of school was yesterday and today I have a meeting and lunch and then I'M DONE! This week has been a whirlwind of awards and graduations and meetings and exams and "lasts" and all fun things but just BUSY!
The highlight though??? This moment right here...
... at our academic awards every year one boy and one girl from each grade are the recipients of the Living Bible award and Luke was the recipient this year and MY WORD what a way to end Middle School.
“The Living Bible award is given to one boy and one girl who faithfully and consistently live their faith out loud daily, showing that they are not ashamed of Christ modeling Romans 1:16 which proclaims: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to
everyone who believes…”. The light of Christ consistently shines in their lives through their actions, attitudes and character.”
Luke also received the academic award for Honors Algebra 1 and Logic, was named the Pilot in the 5-person astronaut team for his STEM class, was recognized for placing First in the Math Olympics and made the Headmaster's Honor Roll. Mason also made Headmaster's Honor Roll and received the Diligence Awards for Math and Writing Skills. SO STINKING PROUD of these hard workers!
Griffin wrapped up fourth grade and earned the character award for trustworthiness and made the Principal's Honor Roll. She had the BEST year and is so sad that it's over!
What am I NOT sad about? The end of recorder season. Amen.
Enjoy your summer!!
