This week has kind of been a whirlwind... re-entry has been a little bit rough with ALL THE THINGS starting back up. Some elf magic has been a FAVORITE this week...
... like them bringing G an ornament to celebrate her doing her solo...
.... and taking a bath in the tree ;)
G and I both got haircuts and a refresh is always our FAVORITE...
We grabbed cheesy tots at our FAVORITE drive-in on the way to dance...
... and I wore one of my FAVORITE sweaters ever ;)
One of my teacher friends brought leftover carrot cake (my FAVORITE) to school on Monday and it made my entire day;)
And since we've been running around a little ragged this week we did one of our FAVORITE quick, simple and "everyone loves it" dinners... KFC bowls. Literally just mashed potatoes with cheese, chicken strips, corn and gravy. They assemble them to their liking and everyone digs in.
The girls in G's grade have taken it upon themselves to write and produce a recess production of The Wizard of Oz and it's my favorite thing ever. I can see them practicing from my window holding their little photocopied scripts and it is EVERYTHING!
I saw this pic on a neighborhood FB group and had to snag it because the colors here the past week or so have been UNREAL! I can't remember a fall ever being this late and/or vibrant and it's been so fun!
Last, but not least - yes, ma'am. This is my FAVORITE pic from the week because it just sums up the week so well. We're going to limp across the finish line but we ARE going to finish!
